PLEASE READ: Did you know that about 1 in 8 U.S. women will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime? Breast Cancers prevalence among women continues to rise at an astounding rate, amid raiding and robbing women of their femininity and in many cases claiming their lives. This month, let us band together and raise awareness on this poignant and devastating condition. In a recent discussion between my sister (who is funeral director and mortician) and I, it was revealed that many families lack the financial means to cover the final expenses of their loved ones. Though several organizations and programs have been established to provide extensive support and resources for those directly and indirectly affected by breast cancer; many of those organizations lack programs, resources, and support for those that have unfortunately succumbed to breast cancer. KHAOS would like to offer a helping hand.... I am excited to announce that KHAOS and Sheffield Funeral Home are teaming up to tackle this facet of the fight! A large portion of the proceeds raised (now and henceforth) will aid in offsetting the financial burden that less fortunate families face when loved ones pass away. It is vital that we continue to provide resources, platforms, and continued support to those affected by Breast Cancer. Therefore, I challenge YOU to not only support this cause or a cause of your choice, but to commit to supporting a cause on an annual basis. Thank you for reading.
